Confirmation Class ~ 2021

Classes for the Religious Education Program for Immaculate Conception-Riceville are held at the rectory (Religious Ed Center) and in the Immaculate Conception Church in Riceville. We begin CCD classes in mid September and end around the end of April. Classes are for 1 – 12grade. Class time is 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.  We celebrate the Sacraments of First Confession, First Communion and Confirmation. Our Confirmation program is a two year program. The Confirmation students have a youth service project of cleaning the ditches east of Riceville each spring. Students participate in the liturgy of the Mass during Advent, Lent and Palm Sunday. All students and teachers are offered the sacrament of confession three times during the CCD program. Our Youth Group (7-12 grade) goes Christmas caroling the third week of December to our shut-ins. We honor the month of October to Mary by saying the Rosary together. In Lent we pray the Stations of the Cross together. We have Senior Sunday Mass for all of the seniors who have completed CCD.
